I’m Back With a Year of High Magick
It has been over 2 YEARS since I posted to this blog. That is pretty ridiculous. And I could give you a hundred and one excuses as to why that is; however, I’m not going to do that. Rather, I’m just going to dive back in and focus on building this blog into the magickal repository that I believe it deserves to be.
So, here we go - to kick off this new-found passion, I’m going to start with a passion project that is submersing into a full year of High Witchcraft (Magick).
What does that mean? I’m going to be using Christopher Penczak’s The Temple of High Witchcraft (and the lessons contained therein) as a template for the next 13 months. I’ll be doing this publicly, sharing my thoughts and experiences with the book’s material on my YouTube channel as well as through this site and other social media.
Over the last 6+ years, I have fallen absolutely in love with the Temple of Witchcraft series, as well as the Temple of Witchcraft as a mystery tradition. I have completed Witchcraft 1-4 with the Temple, and each initiation has been more profound than the last. I don’t know that I could even begin to put into words what studying and working with the Temple has meant to me since I signed up for that first program in 2019. Hopefully (one day), I can share my experiences with you all. For now, we’ll at least discuss the book series.

I want to make clear that this is NOT a sponsored post - the Temple isn’t even aware that I’m embarking on this rather public journey - I have just had an incredible experience with the Temple as both a religious organization and a mystery tradition, and I want to share that with all of you.
Will this website and my social pages become dedicated to only discussing the Temple of Witchcraft? Absolutely not. I’m still interested in all things occult and having a personal magickal practice as both a Witch and a Pagan. That will not change. There will continue to be book reviews featuring other occult authors, spotlights on indie occult book publishers, discussions on the witchy community as a whole, activism in witchcraft, as well as other methods of magick (chaos magick, Wicca, folk magick, traditional witchcraft, pop magick, as well as developing personal methods and rituals).
That being said, I do hope that you’ll follow along with me as I embark on this solo year of High Magick and Witchcraft. If you have anything you’d like to share about your own experiences or if you have book recommendations, please feel free to share in the comments below.
